Yoga and Meditation for Labour and Birth; a Workshop for Expecting Couples
Yoga and meditation are excellent ways to help prepare the body, mind and spirit of the expecting couple for the many exciting transitions of pregnancy, labour, birth and parenthood. In this workshop, you will learn techniques for breath awareness, effective birthing positions, maximizing comfort and creating a safe, secure and confident labouring space that enhances your birth experience. Pelvic floor health, optimal fetal positioning for labour and birth, creating an inspiring vision for the birth experience and addressing any fears and doubts regarding the birthing process will also be covered.
No prior yoga experience is required. This workshop is suitable for all stages of pregnancy. Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring water, snacks and a yoga mat (or two), if possible.
