Introduction to Arm Balances & Inversions
Inversions & Arm Balances are often the postures that excite us most, but also scare us the most. In this workshop Jasmine is going to lead you through the safe set up, foundation, and execution of selected postures. Every posture will be taught with various options and variations according to a practitioners level of experience so that everyone will be able to experience these postures and be given tools to work with them and make them part of their daily practice.
This sessions may include the option for partner work, it will also give practitioners the opportunity to work with longer holds, with the wall and find their way into postures using vinyasa variations.
All sessions will begin with a warm up of the body and preparation to move towards specific postures such as bakasana, eka pada koundinyasana I & II, flying pigeon, dragonfly, forearm balance, headstand and shoulder stand.
