Yoga has changed my life in so many ways. True story!! I took my first yoga class in 2000 to find some stress relief from working as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I practiced from time to time and tried many other physical activities over the next ten or so years, but did not find anything that I loved. I took another yoga class when Moksha Sherwood Park opened and was hooked. I started to practice for the physical benefits, but was thrilled and surprised to find so much more. I found a physical challenge, skills to calm my busy mind, and an amazing group of people. Yoga and Moksha has given me that safe space to let everything go and feel all the feelings. No matter how I feel when I come into class…I always leave feeling stronger and more energized.
Breath and movement has become medicine to me and I miss/need it when I am not on my mat. I have become a healthier, happier, more inspired version of myself. I decided to deepen my practice and took my Yin Training with Bernie Clark in Vancouver, July 2016 and followed it up with my Moksha Level 1 training in Montreal, September 2016.
I am so grateful to share my love of yoga with others. Lets share some sweat, positive vibes, and laughs together!
