Since being introduced to yoga almost ten years ago, I immediately fell in love with the practice. Having struggled with anxiety and scoliosis I started to see the positive effects yoga made on my emotional and physical wellbeing.
I was very inflexible when I first started practicing, but I noticed my body transform over years of practicing hot yoga. With the guidance of my mentor, Jenny Sproule, I decided to embark on an adventure of a lifetime. In Montreal I completed my one month intensive Moksha Level 1 training, October 2010. My thirst for knowledge has drawn me to many other styles of yoga. I have attained Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark (2013), Rocket Yoga with Michele Theoret & Rockne White (2014), Yin Yoga Level 1+2 with Joe Barnett (2015) and Moksha Flow with Dina Tsouluhas (2016).
I believe yoga to be a very therapeutic outlet. We get to break from the busy go-go-go lifestyle and truly tune into our own divinity, our true self. When I teach, I like to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere while still offering challenge and depth. I hope my classes will offer you peace and tranquility balanced with strength and agility. I am forever grateful for this yoga journey, I am so happy that I get to do something I love so much.
